Clemson Fans View of the World
As we all know I am a University of South Carolina fan. I have noticed one thing about our rivals, the Clemson Tigers. They are completely unrealistic. 96 percent of all Tiger fans are slightly insane. This includes my good friend Reese, which writes on this blog, and my boy Brad at The Bradford Report. It goes without saying but this definitely includes almost everyone on Tigernet.
Does Clemson have a good team? yes
Is Clemson more talented than USC this year? probably =)
Do they have a great running back? yes
Is he as good as Reggie Bush was in college? NO!
Will he ever win the Heisman? Has Hell frozen over?
Every major college football team has rabid fans that believe there team is great; USC included. The main difference with Clemson is that their fans believe they are far superior to everyone else. For example: Will Proctor can throw a football a quarter mile and Tommy Bowden is the second greatest coach of all time (right behind Danny Ford) and Clemson has a great bar scene =). There are a few things that obviously need to be pointed out to Tiger fans.
1. If you own a pair of orange overalls, you my friend are a loser.
2. If you wear them out in public, you do not deserve to live.
3. Will Proctor will set a record for interceptions in a season.
4. You will not win the ACC.... you will not even come in second.
5. CJ Spiller is on steroids. Someone needs to ask him to pee in a cup.
I want to end this with a message to the rabid Clemson fans. The next time you think of something to say about your team. Stop.... think.... say nothing.

Not to show hubris to the Buckeyes, but Columbus will add another NYC Downtown Athletic Club's "Heismann Trophy" and another National Championship trophy to their cabinet this year. Which the sour grapes wearing blaze orange and purple will comfort themselves with their "Woody hazed our player" rebuttal into their over-inflated egos to show why they couldn't pass go and collect another 200-yards.
I'll go ahead and make a prediction: Clemson will lose to Sister's of the Poor and K-Mart College. Bowden's job will once again be on the line. Then they will turn around to win two or three games and then luckily beat the Cocks which then all of the naysayers will undo the side buttons on their hideous blaze-orange Carhartt overalls to release a collective sigh and proclaim Bowden king once again. Repeat the same predictions of greatness (read: ineptitude) but they will fall short for another sad, sad season.

Clemson will finish the season 27-0 and win the Super Bowl. They will not give up any points unless a field goal kicker manages a 70+ yard field goal as no team will gain any yards.

Michael, you aren't going to respond to this blatant attempt to suede people to root for the dark side? That was actually kind of funny but in reality Danny Ford is God and is a better coach than any coach in the history of football. We may not have won 8 NC titles but we should have, we are the best team to ever put on a football uniform. But if you ever need directions to the Clemson/USuC game, just take I63W to I17E and you will find yourself at Williams "I'm broke" Brice Stadium where Clemson dominates every year.

I got to admit, that video is hilarious! I'll be coming out with some good stuff over the next few weeks in response to Joshua's posts.
It should be a good game this year, and to be honest, I'm really not all that worried about it. I think Clemson will take care of business with all of these mediocre teams this year.

That video was made by my friend James. He doesn't actually care about football... in fact, he's only ever been to two or three games in his 4 years at Clemson.
The whole thing about the football team in that video was his idea of poking-fun at Clemson. If you took any of it seriously, then I think James deserves a shot at your head with a cricket bat.

Yeah I'm not sure how someone could be offended at that video, it's all for fun. But I will tell you this, I'm a Tigernet regular and there are some posters on there that just have crazy expectations. It's mostly a board to trash our arch rival Gamecocks and that even gets old after a while. So some guys start threads about the Braves and some of the people get pissed because it wasn't related to Clemson. I'm like give it a break, there's only so much clemson stuff you can talk about on a daily basis. So I asked one day if I posted something about Francoeur and some guys took offense to that saying he was never a Tiger blah blah blah. Well he still supports Clemson even though he chose Atlanta instead. So basically some posters on there just need to be ignored and most need to check reality. Clemson went into the tank after Ford and we're just now getting out of the Hatfield, West fiasco. Clemson is coming back, but it's going to take a couple years for the National Championship.

I got "fooled," I guess you can say, into going to this site. Someone posted a link to me and the link was not advertised as SportsTalkRocks...else I wouldn't have gone to it to waste my time.

I hope that “Clemsonface” didn't make any irrational actions last night. It obviously appears that the video really disturbed him.
He reminds me of a 3rd grade kid, We all know how a 3rd grader takes it when he finds out that Santa Clause isn't real. It's absolutely devastating to the child, but not devastating at first because it takes a few days for it to sink in. It's almost like this guy "Clemsonface" honestly believed the things that are being discussed in the video, and then after watching it, he was realized that "Santa" isn’t real. It’s okay, I was pissed off at my sister for a few weeks after she broke the realistic news to me, then I started talking to her again. I’m sure “Clemsonface,” well…… hopefully c-face will get over this.
