I Don't Dislike This Guy As Much As Some But ....

After a few jobs as head coach, Atlanta (1983-86) and San Diego (1989-91), and of course being NFL assistant, Dan Henning joined the Carolina Panthers in 2002. The conservative play calling over the last 3 years has worked in his favor, and understably so with their incredible defense and special teams. However, I think the Carolina Panther fans have seen too many "run it up the gut" plays on 3rd and 3, and be forced to punt. I don't dislike this guy as much as some people, but I will agree with the website above. It's time for John Fox to replace Dan Henning with someone else at the Offensive Coordinator position at Carolina. Here are some statistics that don't lie:

- Worst 1/3 in 3rd Down Conversions ... 2006 Season
- 27th out of 32 in Scoring Offense .... WITH THE MOST EXPLOSIVE PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE
- 24th in the in Time of Possession ... WITH THE 8TH BEST TOTAL DEFENSE

Not only is it time to get rid of DeShaun Foster at the end of this season, but it's time to get rid of Dan Henning.
